On October 31, the 2025 Tsinghua University "Carbon Neutrality Economy" Forum was held at Tsinghua University. Mr. Zhao Dong, Board Member and President of Sinopec Group, Dr. Ma Yongsheng, CAE Academician, Chairman of the International CCUS Technology Innovation Cooperation Organization and former Chairman of Sinopec Group, Mr. Zhong Ren, Board Member of Sinopec Group, and Mr. Fan Chuanhong, President of Sinopec Star, were invited to the event.

 release ceremony for "Sinopec Cases for the China Business Management Case Center Outstanding Case Collection" was held during the forum, showcasing achievements in green, low-carbon practices and the development of new quality productive forces. Five cases, including "Sinopec Star: Geothermal Warming Millions of Homes", were listed.

In recent years, Sinopec Star has actively implemented green development concepts, continuously expanding and diversifying the application scenarios for geothermal development and utilization. The company has cumulatively built a geothermal clean heating capacity exceeding 120 million square meters. Its geothermal business now spans over 70 cities (counties and districts) across 11 provinces, providing clean heating for more than 1.2 million households nationwide.

The selected cases will support teaching and research at over 900 universities across China, continuously adding value to the teaching within the low-carbon industry sector, contributing to the cultivation of talent in the low-carbon field and promoting high-quality development within the industry.

Ms. Zhao Xin, CEO of Arctic Green as well as the Board Member and CFO of SGE, attended the forum's round table discussion and delivered speeches.
