Social Responsibility

SGE actively responds to the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping that "a good ecological environment is the most popular welfare of people's livelihood", and upholds the social responsibility of "Less pain in haze, more gain in clear days" by laying out the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Pollutant Air Evacuation cities" ("2+26" cities), providing clean heating in these cities, and creating a number of geothermal heating "smoke-free cities" represented by Xiong County.

SGE actively participates in the construction of beautiful villages and carries out "Replace coal with geothermal" projects in villages and towns in the coal-banned area of Xiongan New Area, providing green source solutions and services to achieve clean heating in rural areas.

SGE's annual heating capacity can replace nearly 1.3 million tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 3.2 million tons, which is equivalent to planting 30 million trees. We have been taking action to "reduce carbon for the earth and send warmth for the people".

SGE actively integrates into the construction of cities along the "Belt and Road" and Xiongan New Area to provide clean heating; implements the instruction of the Party Central Committee to "develop mixed ownership economy and cultivate globally competitive world-class enterprises" and promotes the implementation of mixed ownership reform to add new momentum for development; actively integrates into the development pattern of "one foundation, two wings and three growth points" of the Group and the industrial pattern of "one base, two powers and three ensurances" of Sinopec Star, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development of the enterprise.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, SGE will adhere to the development concept of "resource first, innovation-driven, law-based, and win-win cooperation", take the mixed ownership reform as an opportunity to stimulate the vitality of enterprise development, increase core technology research and development, enhance enterprise competitiveness, and build a geothermal energy development and utilization enterprise with "geothermal (waste heat) +" as the main business of clean energy integration, and accelerate the building of a company of world class and best in China.
