On the National Low-Carbon Day, SGE organized young volunteers to visit Changfeng Primary School in Xiongdong District of Xiong’an New Area and carry out the "Geothermal Energy Science Education on Campus" event. The volunteers delivered a unique geothermal energy education class to the students through innovative teaching methods including smart classroom, interactive Q&A and hands-on activities. This event effectively disseminated geothermal energy knowledge and promoted environmental awareness among the students.
During the event, the volunteers acted as the role of "science lecturers," using vivid and accessible language to explain to students the causes of global warming and its environmental impacts, guiding students to reflect on practical eco-friendly behaviors in daily life. The session highlighted various clean energy sources, particularly solar, wind, and geothermal energy, with special emphasis on how geothermal systems operate, production processes, and its significance in energy conservation and emission reduction. Student participation was enthusiastic, with lively discussions and thoughtful questions throughout the class.
After the lecture, volunteers distributed solar-powered car to each student and provided group guidance for hands-on assembly. This interactive exercise reinforced technical skills and deepened the concept of environmentally-friendly technology in the young minds.
At the end of the event, all participants gathered for a group photo to capture the meaningful moment. This event not only opened a window into clean energy for the children, but also planted the seeds of green development in their hearts. SGE will continue to fulfill corporate social responsibilities through concrete actions and contribute more to ecological civilization development.
