On June 19, the finals of the 2nd Xiong’an Future City Changjinghui International Green and Low-Carbon Technology Application Competition kicked off in the Xiong’an New Area. SGE submitted two proposals: the "Geothermal Resource Centralized Production, Transmission, and Reinjection Large-Scale Utilization Technology Solution" and the "Xiong’an New Area Low-Carbon Industrial Parks Integrated Intelligent Energy Supply Solution." Both proposals won third prizes in both the Innovation & Creativity category and the Photovoltaic-Storage-Direct-Flexibility (PSDF) Technology category respectively, demonstrating “geothermal+” clean energy to support the green and low-carbon development of Xiong’an New Area.
"Xiong’an New Area Low-Carbon Industrial Parks Integrated Intelligent Energy Supply Solution" by SGE Zhang Meng, Production and Technology Department
The award-winning proposal deeply integrated intelligent energy management system and established a "PV-Storage-Charging" integrated power system, this solution has been successfully implemented at the Xiong’an New Area Sci-Tech Innovation Center Pilot Test Base, providing heating and cooling services across 64,000 sqm and supplying approximately 4 million kWh of clean electricity annually.
"Geothermal Resource Centralized Production, Transmission, and Reinjection Large-Scale Utilization Technology Solution" by Lv Linhai, SGE Geothermal R&D Institute
The other award-winning project was jointly submitted by Sinopec Green Energy and China Xiong’an Group. The project was centered on Large-Scale application technological innovation in Centralized Production, Transmission, and Reinjection. The project achieved the "Four Stability" objectives in geothermal development: stable thermal reservoir pressure, balanced production and reinjection, steady pipeline transmission, and stable heating system coupling. This technology has been fully implemented in the Xiong’an New Area High-speed Railway Hub Area Project, saving approximately 20,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by about 47,000 tons annually.
It is reported that the competition was organized by the Xiong’an Future City Changjinghui Committee and co-hosted by the Hebei Xiong’an New Area Management Committee, Hebei Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Changjinghui Comprehensive Service Company, and the Capital Empowerment Xiong’an Future City Venture Capital Alliance. The event attracted 389 proposals from 336 enterprise teams across 26 provinces nationwide.
