On January 21, Mr. Haukur HARDARSON, the Chairman of Arctic Green Energy, and his delegation visited Sinopec Green Energy, on-site researched Xiong’an New Area High-Speed Railway “centralized production, transmission and reinjection” piolt project, Mr. Gao Xiaorong, Chairman of SGE’s Board, Mr. Liu Jian, General Manager of SGE, Ms, Zhao Xin, the CFO, Ms. Sun Caixia, the CTO, and Mr. Lu Xingchen, the Deputy General Manager of SGE, received the delegation and held meeting.

Mr. Haukur HARDARSON highly commended SGE for exceeding the milestone of 1,000 geothermal wells and achieving a production capacity of over 100 mm square meters, which empowered Sinopec Star completing “14th Five-Year Plan” target one year ahead. He expressed his intention to further deepen the China-Iceland geothermal joint venture cooperation and promote the high-quality development of the geothermal industry. Mr. Gao Xiaorong warmly welcomed Mr. Haukur HARDARSON and his delegation, expressed that with the strong support from both shareholders, SGE has become a leader in China’s geothermal energy development and utilization. Moving forward, both parties will continue to collaborate, leverage deep accumulations and unique advantages in technology R&D, project operations, market expansion, and other areas, and steadily progress toward the international stage.

Relevant heads from the Geothermal R&D Institute and Development Planning Department also participated in the meeting.
