On May 6, SGE signed a MoU on geothermal development and cooperation with Arctic Green and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Jeddah, Saudi. SGE delegation visited laboratories at the KAUST and attended meeting with the geothermal and geology team. Mr. Gao Xiaorong, Chairman of SGE, Mr. Atli Jonsson, CEO of Arctic Green, and Mr. Tony F. Chan, President of KAUST exchanged signatures during the signing ceremony .
The parties expressed their commitment to leveraging strengths in geothermal research, development, and utilization, jointly advancing geothermal projects in Saudi Arabia, enhancing industry-academia collaboration and promoting the renewable energy transition to address global climate change.
