On August 15, Mr. Liu Shiliang, Executive Director of Sinopec Star, inspected SGE Shaanxi Company. He was accompanied by SGE’s Chairman Mr. Gao Xiaorong.

Mr. Liu successively visited Baoshi Jiayuan “Heat-Power-Helium” Cogeneration Project in Xianyang and Xi’an Thermal Power Massive Production and Reinjection Project, and highly recognized SGE Shaanxi Company’s achievements in facilitating an integrated development of geothermal upstream and downstream businesses as well as technical innovation.

Mr. Liu Shiliang demanded at the cogeneration project site that operation, maintenance and construction management should be well supervised while work related to power connecting to the national grid and consumption being steadily promoted. A balance among heating, power generation trial and water soluble helium extraction should be sought to make sure the project can be pushed forward in a safe and highly efficient manner. SGE Shaanxi Company shall seriously summarize the operating experience from areas of technology, economical feasibility and comprehensive energy synchronization for future promotion. At the project site in Xi’an, he emphasized safe drilling should be always focused on and a well-layout plan should encompass both innovation and feasibility to perfect space utilization. Well completion and drilling fluid treatment technologies should be improved to ensure green, safe and sustainable development that protects the environment. Contractor management should be intensified and management experience concluded to completely guarantee safe construction.
