On August 21 to 22, 2024, Mr. Fan Chuanhong, President of Sinopec Star, successively inspected SGE’s energy station of Sinopec Star Office Building, Xiong’an High-speed Railway Area Massive Production, Transmission and Reinjection Project, Science and Innovation Center Pilot Base, Geothermal Intelligent Control Center and Geothermal Development Exhibition Hall, had a meeting with the company.

During the meeting, Gao Xiaorong, Chairman of the company, reported SGE’s geothermal business and key progess. While recognizing the report, Mr. Fan instructed that SGE shall stand at the height of national energy security, energy saving and carbon reduction to fully understand the importance of developing new energies, and systematically promote the development of the new energy industry with the goal of building a first-class new energy company. SGE shall cooperate with governments and enterprises to secure more high-quality resources, strengthen technical R&D and the protection of intellectual property rights, build a high quality team, improve project quality and efficiency, and increase the level of digitalization.

Senior experts from Sinopec Group, chief expert and deputy chief engineer from Sinopec Star as well as SGE’s management also attended the meeting.
