From September 9 to 10, Professor Wu Jinquan of Saudi Arabia King Abdullah University of Science & Technology inspected SGE, together with Doctor and Special Researcher Chen Qian of Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School and other delegates. They were accompanied by SGE’s Party Secretary and President Gao Xiaorong as well as Member of Party Committee and Chief Technical Officer Sun Caixia.

Professor Wu Jinquan and Doctor Chen Qian visited successively the Digital Twin Intelligent Energy System of Science and Innovation Center in Xiong’an New Area, Rencai Jiayuan Heat Central in Xiongxian County, Sinopec Star Geothermal Development Exhibition Hall and Geothermal Intelligent Control Center. They inquired detailed information of SGE’s development history, practical achievements, new energy synchronization and geothermal development and utilization, speaking highly of fruitful results SGE has achieved in geothermal development and utilization. After the site visit, Professor Wu Jinquan and the team exchanged views with SGE over improving air conditioning energy efficiency through evaporation and cooling, and also over sea water desalination technology. They also discussed content of the MOU.

Technicians from SGE’s Geothermal Institute and Production and Technology Department attended the views exchanging seminar.
